Svjetska zdravstvena organizacija (WHO) upravo je proglasila globalnu pandemiju zbog koronavirusa. Stupanj upozorenja na opasnost od koronavirusa povišen je, dakle, na najvišu razinu. Objavio je to na konferenciji na medije dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, šef Svjetske zdravstvene organizacije.
Rekao je da Svjetska zdravstvena organizacija analizira širenje ove zaraze iz minute u minutu i da su ozbiljno zabrinuti za alarmantno širenje virusa i težinu posljedica, ali i alarmantnu razinu neaktivnosti. Upravo zbog toga procijenjeno je da se zaraza Covidom 19 proglasi pandemijom, objasnio je šef WHO-a.
